100% Tempranillo - Portia Roble is a young red which proves the excellent results of brief aging, which is increasingly common in Ribera del Duero. The grapes come from several properties located in Roa, Gumiel de Mercado, Sotillo de la Ribera and Villanueva de Gumiel and the wine is made in Gumiel de Izán (Burgos), in the spectacular facilities of Bodegas Portia, the only winery in the world designed that designed by the prestigious architectural firm Foster & Partners. The wine is fruity, intense, with sweet notes due to its brief aging in barrels.
Made from tempranillo, as is usual in this region, Portia Roble ages for 3 months in oak barrels to arrive on the market with a brilliant garnet color. The nose will surprise us with its intensity, with notes of forest fruits such as blackberries, wild blackberries and blueberries and other toasted reminders due to its time in barrel. Smooth, silky and balanced, with a well-integrated tannin content and a finish in which reminders of toasted wood and aromas of dried fruits predominate.
This is a wine to enjoy with friends or family, the ideal companion to a large number of grilled meats, fish and seafood, rice and pasta. Excellent with white beans and purees.

100% Tempranillo - A red wine made from Tempranillo from the Portia estates located in Roa, Gumiel de Mercado, Sotillo de la Ribera and Villanueva de Gumiel. A very intense wine on the nose, with elegant toasted notes from the barrel on a sweet background of ripe fruit. On the palate, it is powerful, well structured, with good balance and is homogeneous. A reliable Crianza which, for this vintage, received some nice awards, such as the silver medal at the Mundus Vini competitions and the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Nose
Very good intensity, dominated by ripe red fruits, toasted notes, cocoa and cinnamon.
Mouth
Well structured, recalling the sweet notes of the barrel, integrated tannins and good acidity. Long finish, marked by toasted and dried fruit aromas.
Ideal with all types of meat, grilled mushrooms and risotto. Perfect with tasty or fatty fish like cod or bacalao, with Emmental or Gruyère.
